This Morning in Rosslyn

It's not your father's Rosslyn anymore. During our Future of Rosslyn event at 1000 Wilson Blvd this morning, ASB Real Estate Investments' CEO Robert Bellinger said the influx of new projects (and young, highly educated, and affluent residents and workers) is why his company made a $200M investment in the Sedona/Slate apartments on Clarendon Boulevard. ASB will soon announce a retail tenant for Sedona/Slate, a bar/restaurant concept from an operator based out of Adams Morgan.

Monday Properties' Tim Helming showed the 450 attendees renderings of the firm's redevelopment of 1401 Wilson Blvd and 1400 Key Blvd, and says Monday should also have some new retail tenants to announce soon: food concepts for 1100 and 1501 Wilson.

Speaking of Jazz Age, we hope everyone enjoyed our new format this morning—which included a great jazz duo (on the right) that played in between speakers. Stay tuned for more coverage this week.
