Martha's Table Moving

Placeholder

Martha’s Table is moving across the Anacostia River, after 35 years in the 14th Street corridor, to be closer to the community it serves. The nonprofit, run by Patty Stonesifer (pictured), will build a $20M center in the Hillside neighborhood of Ward 8, reports the Washington Business Journal. The center, which will include child, youth and family-focused programming, will open in 2018. Martha's Table also launched a fundraising campaign for the project. [WBJ
