401-405 The West Mall In Etobicoke

Slate Office REIT has purchased 401-405 The West Mall in Etobicoke from Dream Office REIT for $95M.

The acquisition of the 412K SF Class-A suburban office complex, known as Commerce West, provides significant synergies with Slate’s recently announced buy of West Metro Corporate Centre, the REIT’s CEO, Scott Antoniak, said.

These deals, along with its existing ownership of 1 Eva Road, “have established Slate Office REIT as a premier landlord along the 427 corridor.”

Commerce West comprises two mid-rise office towers connected by a single-storey corridor. The complex is 87% occupied.
