Waterfront Toronto Reveals Its New CEO

Will Fleissig is Waterfront Toronto’s new president and CEO, replacing John Campbell, who's retiring after 13 years at the helm. Will is currently president of San Francisco-based Communitas Development, which specializes in sustainable, transit-oriented and mixed-use development of infill sites. With over 30 years’ experience, he's directed the planning and execution of projects in Boston, Washington, DC, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and was a planning director in Denver and Boulder, CO. Waterfront Toronto board chair Mark Wilson said Will’s “deep experience, tremendous energy and fresh ideas” will take the agency through the second half of its mandate.
