Google Continues Silicon Valley Expansion

Google signed a lease at the end of December for a more than 111k SF building in Mountain View slated to start construction this year.

Google will lease 1001 N Shoreline Blvd, an office building developed by a JV of Calvano Development Co and the Carlyle Group.

Located in Mountain View's Terra Bella neighborhood, the building will be near some of Google's existing buildings as it continues to expand throughout Silicon Valley, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

The neighborhood also could see some office space converted into housing in the coming years with redevelopment proposals and rezoning under consideration. [SVBJ]
