Ground was broken last week for the 43-story Park Tower at Transbay, the product of a JV from The John Buck Co, Golub & Co and MetLife Real Estate Investments.

The building will be atop the future Transbay Transit Center, which is under construction at First and Mission streets. Plans call for 750k SF of Class-A space, including 10k SF of high-end retail space. Features will include more than 50k SF of outdoor and open space, 14 skydecks and an open-air atrium lobby rising through the first three stories.

The tower was designed by Goettsch Partners and Solomon Cordwell Buenz. JLL’s Christopher Roeder, Wes Powell and Steve Anderson are serving as exclusive leasing agents[TR]
