Rendering Reveal: 37-Story Apartment Tower Underway in SoMa

Here's an exclusive rendering of a glass-enclosed apartment tower that will greet drivers coming off the Bay Bridge exit in 2017. Lend Lease just got started on 41 Tehama, a new 389k SF multifamily complex in SoMa. The 37-story project from Hines and Invesco is designed by Arquitectonica and will be packed with 403 units and four penthouses. Amenities will include a boulder rock wall, a spa, and a rooftop with BBQs and bocce ball courts. And 1,800 SF of ground-level retail will open out to the proposed Oscar Park.

Last year, we stopped by Lend Lease's office, where GM of California Bruce Berardi told us why multifamily is undersupplied in S.F. Excavation to 55 feet at 41 Tehama started in June, clearing 1M cubic feet of contaminated soil off the site. The development is bound by the Fremont St Bay Bridge exit and the new Transbay Transit Center bus overpass.
