Boston Properties has submitted an application for a roughly 1M SF mixed-use “urban campus” for the city’s Central South of Market district.

The proposed project would be located on a 2.3-acre site at Fourth and Harrison streets. Plans call for an office-and-retail complex with three building components highlighted by a 240-foot tower. The project will consist of 907k SF of office, 54k SF of ground-floor flex space, 9.9k SF of retail and a 135k SF parking garage.

Boston Properties is also developing the 61-story Salesforce Tower at 415 Mission St, which will be the tallest building in the city. The company hopes to begin construction on the new project in summer 2016. [TR]
