Swinerton Wins Contract for John Wayne Airport Reno

Placeholder

Irvine-based Swinerton Builders has been tapped to do more than $101M in upgrades at John Wayne Airport. Work, including paint, carpet, HVAC work, new signage and upgrades required by the Americans with Disabilities Act, will begin next year, with the goals of improving safety, code compliance and usability at the airport's two older terminals, which were built in 1990. There will also be retrofitting of the terminals to prevent earthquake damage, the Orange County Business Journal reports. The new work will be paid for by fees and budgeted operating funds. [OCBJ]
