Hotel Developer To Cut 121 Jobs In Anaheim

FJS Inc., an affiliate of Hong Kong's Wincome Group, plans to cut 121 jobs in Anaheim.

Wincome Group owns Anaheim's 358-room Anabella Hotel, which is being torn down to make way for a four-diamond-level, $225M property with about 600 to 630 rooms, the Orange County Business Journal reports.

Wincome Group may try to transfer its employees to other properties, including the Anaheim Hotel, which may be replaced with an upgraded $208M hotel.

The new hotel at the site of the Anabella Hotel will include 23K SF of retail and is scheduled to open in 2020.
