STRENGTH IN GIVING

We’ve been so busy flexing our news muscles—sort of like Corrigan’s Jill Ibison showing off her guns—that we’ve made you wait to hear about the $500k that The Real Estate Council raised at its annual Giving Gala on Oct. 14 at the Anatole Sculpture Park at the Hilton Anatole. Before the concert, former TREC chairman Todd Williams was presented with the Community Spirit Award. With his wife Abby, Todd helped launch Uplift Education’s Williams Preparatory. Trey says Todd was selected for his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of Dallas children through public education, his joyous spirit and exceptional ability to bring people and resources together for the betterment of the city.
