H Street's First Starbucks Will Be In Jair Lynch's New Building

Yuppie caffeine junkies on the 600 block of H Street NE are getting a jolt of good news: Starbucks will be opening a new location there.

Starbucks has signed on as a retail tenant at Jair Lynch’s under-construction building at 625 H St NE, Popville reports. It's in ground-floor space at Anthology, a nine-story mixed-use building that includes 307 apartments and 10k SF of retail, which is scheduled to deliver this fall. And it’s directly across the street from the highly anticipated Whole Foods, coming in 2017.

The booming H Street Corridor has several projects either planned or in the works, including MRP’s development at 315 H St and Douglas Development’s mixed-use at 501 H St NE. [POP]
