Wings Over, a Massachusetts-based chicken wing delivery and takeout chain, is breaking into the D.C. area.

The chain has signed on for 2K SF at College Park's Terrapin Row student housing development and expects to open this spring, JLL Associate Matt Weinreb tells Bisnow.

Weinreb, along with JLL's Arris Noble, represented the tenant, while MSC Retail's Matthew Stein and Maria Mainardi represented the landlord.

Founded at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1999, Wings Over has 41 locations across 13 states, primarily in college towns. The closest location to D.C. had previously been in Charlottesville, Virginia. The chain is looking to open near more D.C.-area colleges, Weinreb said.

The chicken wing chain features a variety of wing styles, plus ribs, sandwiches, wraps and side dishes. The College Park location will have a dining room and offer online ordering for delivery and takeout.

Toll Brothers developed the 445-unit Terrapin Row student housing community, which opened in September 2016. In January it landed an Amazon pickup location, the first in the region.

CORRECTION NOV. 6, 3:15 P.M. EST: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that the Wings Over location in College Park would not include a dining room. The story has been updated.
