Bowling Alley/Arcade/Restaurant Hybrid Plans Two DC Locations

Punch Bowl Social

A Denver-based restaurant concept that includes a bowling alley, arcade and bar is expanding to the East Coast with two DC-area locations.

Punch Bowl Social has announced it will open one restaurant in Arlington and one in the District, ARLnow reports.

The company says the locations will open in 2018, but has not specified a site for either restaurant. Punch Bowl Social's existing locations have been roughly 24k SF and cost $5M to develop.

Launched by the founder of Buffalo Billiards, which has a Dupont Circle location, Punch Bowl Social has expanded from its Denver location (above) to seven others in Austin, Detroit, Portland, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and Illinois.

In addition to locally sourced food, craft beer and cocktail offerings, visitors can enjoy bowling, karaoke, shuffleboard, billiards, ping pong and vintage arcade games. [ARLnow]
