Mount Vernon Triangle is about to become a little peppier. Teresa and Tony Velazquez (middle), owners of Baked & Wired, the popular Georgetown coffee and bake shop, have just signed a lease at Quadrangle Development/The Wilkes Co's Lyric 440 K apartment complex on K Street. It'll be a new concept for Baked & Wired, offering handcrafted breads and coffees come early 2015. The new store should have a huge resident base to draw from; we're told the building is already at 70% occupancy after opening earlier this year. Teresa and Tony were snapped this morning with some Quadrangle folks: leasing consultants Roland Thiele and Julia Crawford, and property manager Alison Strawbridge.
