JLL is bolstering its D.C. agency leasing team with a hire from one of its main competitors.

The firm announced Monday it hired Jeanette Ko, who previously led investor services efforts at Cushman & Wakefield in Northern Virginia.

Ko joins JLL as senior vice president, and she will work with executive managing directors Evan Behr and Doug Mueller to lease office buildings on behalf of landlords. She will work on leasing projects including Brookfield's Halley Rise development in Reston and Columbia Property Trust's 80 M St. SE renovation in Capitol Riverfront.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2015, Ko worked at Transwestern for over three years and RE/MAX for over five years, according to her LinkedIn page. She serves as co-chair of NAIOP's Developing Leaders Committee, and she is a member of CREW D.C. and CREBA.
