Boston Properties, one of GSA's largest landlords, is protesting the selection of Victory Center's 5001 Eisenhower Ave (pictured) in Alexandria to be the next TSA HQ. It filed a bid protest with the GAO on Aug. 24, alleging flaws in the selection process. It's rare for a bid protest to cause the GSA to pick a different location; however, it's also unlikely that Boston Properties would protest if it thought it was fighting a losing battle. Victory Center, a JV between JLL and Prudential Real Estate Investors, was awarded the 625k SF lease over Boston Properties, JBG and Vornado. [WBJ]
