Equus Buys Big With Medical Office

Equus Capital Partners has jumped into Phoenix with a double buy: Scottsdale Gateway I and 92 Mountain View. The two assets, totaling more than 220k SF, sold for $44.1M with the help of CBRE's Barry Gabel and Chris Marchildon (assisted by CBRE's Kevin Shannon, Ken White, and Michael Moore in Los Angeles). Both properties, being in proximity to Scottsdale Healthcare's Shea Medical Campus, are mainly leased to medical tenants such as Matrix Medical Network, SimonMed Imaging, and Scottsdale Healthcare Rehabilitation Center, Barry tells us. The properties are more than 90% leased and “surrounded by strategic economic engines” including CVS Caremark Corporate Campus, he says.
