Strategic Storage Acquires Two More GTA Facilities

Strategic Storage Trust II Inc (SST II) continues its aggressive expansion into the GTA, acquiring two more self-storage facilities, in Burlington and Oakville, for $28.9M. The first property, 4491 Mainway in Burlington, is a 460-unit, one-storey building on 3.12 acres. The second facility, 480 South Service Rd in Oakville, has 740 units and 80 RV parking spaces. The property, seen above, was built in 1970 and renovated in 2008. SST II, a public non-traded REIT sponsored by SmartStop Asset Management, has a North American portfolio of 23,880 self-storage units and approximately 2.6M rentable SF of storage.
