Regent Park Partners Open $4M Multi-Sport Facility

The opening of Regent Park Athletic Grounds—a 2.8-acre complex with a refurbished hockey rink, running track, basketball court, field house and artificial turf soccer/cricket pitch—was perfectly timed: it coincided with the last day of school and the start of summer break, noted The Daniels Corp VP Martin Blake. Martin is pictured at the June 28 launch event with Toronto Raptors assistant coach Jamaal Magloire and Toronto FC’s Dwayne De Rosario. MLSE Foundation and the City of Toronto provided capital funding for the state-of-the-art facility, with additional support from Daniels and Toronto Community Housing.
