Ivanhoé Cambridge and Metrolinx this morning unveiled their much-anticipated plan for an integrated office and transit development at 45-141 Bay Street that will include a 2.7M SF multi-phased, two-tower LEED Platinum office complex, a new GO Transit bus terminal, and a one-acre elevated park above the rail corridor. Both office towers are proposed at 48 storeys, with 27k SF column-free floor plates and 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows.

Ivanhoé EVP Paul Gleeson (pictured left at this morning’s announcement with Metrolinx chair Robert Prichard and Ivanhoé CEO Daniel Fournier) says the “next-generation office tower complex” will be an architectural landmark for downtown Toronto. The project is being developed in partnership with Hines Canada and designed by London, UK-based Wilkinson Eyre (selected through an international competition) in conjunction with Toronto’s Adamson Associates. The office complex will be tied into the PATH network via pedestrian bridge.
