True North Commercial REIT Buys Buildings In Waterloo, Calgary

Northwest Centre in Calgary

True North Commercial REIT paid $8.4M to acquire 1035 Industrial Road in Waterloo, a 156k SF, 100% occupied industrial building on eight acres. The REIT has also acquired 4500 and 4520 16th Ave NW in Calgary, a 78k SF office property (above) that’s anchored by Alberta Health Services. True North purchased the two-building suburban office complex, known as Northwest Centre I and II, for $24.5M. The trust now owns and operates a nationwide portfolio of 28 commercial properties (1.7M SF total).
