Orlando Deals Mark Launch Of Mohawk REIT’s US Platform

Mohawk Medical Properties REIT has acquired two medical office buildings in Orlando, marking the launch of its cross-border investment platform, Mohawk America. The trust bought Metrowest Medical Center and University Boulevard Medical Center, both 100% occupied by medical tenants (60k SF combined) and in "desirable submarkets" on the city’s east and west sides. Mohawk, with a portfolio of 75 medical office buildings, says it anticipates closing on three more Canadian properties this fall.
