Groupe Jesta, the company that purchased the 575-room Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Downtown, for $75M(hotels seem a lot cheaper when you playMonopoly), says they arecommitting to a significant renovation of the property.
Groupe Jesta isa company with offices worldwide, adding to its global portfolio of commercial office, retail, residential, industrial, and hospitality properties. Colliers International Hotels brokered the deal, a hotel located in one of the citys more prime locations--Bloor-Yorkville. The property includes 14k SF of meeting space, and 108 parking spaces in a two-level underground garage, as well as 10k SF of ground-floor retail space (and closets filled to capacity with fresh towels). The full-service hotel is the worlds largest Courtyard by Marriott.
