End For Huntingdon KEYreit Bid?

Huntingdon Capital Corp announced yesterday that its earlier offer to take over KEYreit for $8 cash per KEYreit unit would be itsbest and final offer, expiringthis Thursday. Last week, Plazacorp Retail Properties, which had been going head-to-head with Huntingdon for control of the John Bitove-led small-box retail property owner, upped its offer to $8.35 in cash and stock, with unanimous support from the KEYreit board. Plazacorp and KEYreit issued a news release this morning making the case again as to why that offer is more attractive.
