Canary District Readies For Pan Am Games

The first phase of The Canary District urban village in the West Don Lands is on schedule for completion at the end of 2014, well before the start of the Pan Am Games, coming the following summer, according to lead developer Dundee Kilmer Developments. The site will serve as the athletes and coaches village and will later be converted to condos. (After all the sweaty socks are removed.) President Jason Lester(far right) took people for a tour last week. Its being built very quickly, but the planning that went into this development was not rushed at all, he says.
