Salesforce is planning to lease 75k SF of office space in Bellevue and become the anchor at the under-construction 929 108th St NE.
The lease will represent a tripling of space for the San Francisco-based tech firm, and perhaps a doubling of its local workforce. Salesforce entered the market about five years ago leasing 12k SF and later grew in the region buying up ExactTarget for $2.5B.
Salesforce VP of engineering Jim Walsh told the Puget Sound Business Journal, "we need to be in places where there is great talent." [PSBJ]
