Expedia Leases 'Test And Learn' Space In Seattle

Expedia is leasing 38k SF at 645 Elliott in Interbay, near its future HQ at the former Amgen campus. The move is considerably ahead of the travel giant's relocation from Bellevue, which will be in 2019 (a move that will provide a significant boost for hospitality in the city, something you can learn more about at Bisnow's hospitality event March 25).

The deal is part of the company's “test and learn” strategy to prepare for the move to Seattle, reports the Puget Sound Business Journal. Expedia has expanded massively during the last year, buying Travelocity, Orbitz and HomeAway. [PSBJ]
