Raiders officials have slammed Oakland in making their case for moving the team to Los Angeles, stating that Oakland is no longer a viable NFL market.

That may make the relationship between the team and the city uncomfortable after NFL owners voted last night to let the St. Louis Rams move to Inglewood and gave the San Diego Chargers the option to share the facility. The Raiders will only get a chance at a move if the Chargers turn it down.

While praising Raider Nation, the team told league officials and owners that Oakland and Alameda County politicians intentionally stalled negotiations, admitted to acting in bad faith, made false promises and lied. City and county officials did not comment, according to the Orange County Register. Raiders officials said no NFL team could exist in Oakland in the current market and political climate. It filed its official request to move last week.
