A new $800 a night all-suite hotel opened on Monday in Palo Alto. The Clement Palo Alto sits close to Stanford University at 711 El Camino Rd and offers a residential feel.

Amenities include personal assistants, meals prepared to each guest's tastes and dietary requirements by an executive chef, private cabanas and well-stocked mini fridges, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Room rates are all-inclusive to make guests feel more at home instead of paying for services piecemeal, says hotel owner Clement Chen, whose Pacific Hotel Management also owns the Sheraton Palo Alto and Westin Palo Alto.
