San Francisco Hot Spot Tops List of Best New Restaurants in America

AL’s Place, a 46-seat restaurant in the Mission District, claimed the top spot in Bon Appetit’s annual list of The Top Ten Best New Restaurants in America for 2015. Located on the corner of Valencia and 26th Street, AL’s Place is described as a relaxed, modern new American restaurant with an inventive take on seafood and vegetable dishes. Chef Aaron London extensively renovated the location prior to opening in February. Rintaro, a Japanese spot on 14th Street, came in at No. 8. With two restaurants in the top 10, San Francisco's claim as one of the best food cities in America just got a little stronger. [Eater]
