WeWork has 14 locations and counting in San Francisco following its latest lease. The co-working company took 76K SF spanning six floors at 353 Sacramento St., the San Francisco Business Times reports. This location will accommodate 1,300 desks and is expected to open in October. WeWork also is considering a lease at One Post St.
WeWork has doubled the number of locations in San Francisco since 2016 when it had seven locations. In March, the company leased 251K SF at 430 California St., previously occupied by Union Bank. In the last 18 months, it has leased space at 2 Embarcadero Center, 201 Spear St., Salesforce Tower, 44 Montgomery and Jackson Square.
The company has added more corporate members and just signed on Facebook in Mountain View for 225K SF at The Village of San Antonio Square.
353 Sacramento St. is now 83% leased, according to CoStar. JLL is the broker of the building.
