It might be finally time to put away the whips. Kink.com, the fetish adult site, has filed paperwork to begin converting its 120k SF Armory building on the corner of Mission and 14th Street into traditional office space.
While plans were first floated in 2014, Kink has formally filed with the city to convert the Mission District space and utilize 39k SF of the property for corporate functions, private parties, flea markets and the like, according to SocketSite. The city has expedited the conversion by waiving Kink from completing an extensive environmental review. Another 41k SF would remain zoned for PDR. [SS]
