Equity Residential's Leasing Activity Heats Up

Equity Residential reports strong leasing volume at two of its newest apartment complexes in San Francisco. One Henry Adams in the Showplace Square neighborhood has leased at least 91 units out of 241 and Potrero 1010 in Potrero Hill is 97% leased up.

One Henry Adams, which just opened, includes The Grove restaurant, which will open in April, according to Equity Residential first vice president of development Jim Kelly. The 280k SF complex was built by Suffolk Construction and designed by BAR Architects. It was developed for $164.4M.

One Henry Adams' two six-story building exteriors are designed with zinc and stainless steel as well as brick and timber tied together with expansive glass windows. The two buildings are separated by a park-like paseo connecting Henry Adams and Rhode Island streets.

Amenities include a rooftop terrace with an outdoor kitchen and lounge chairs; a large fitness center with high ceilings; lounges with WiFi, high-definition televisions, farm tables and comfortable seating; a club room with a demonstration kitchen; two outdoor courtyards with fireplaces and grilling areas; 1:1 bike parking with tool racks and a repair station; and a dog spa.

Potrero 1010 has 453 units and houses gallery space and the graduate school extension for the California College of the Arts, said John Hyjer, Equity Residential first vice president of investments.
