Meridian Receives National Award for Rohnert Park Healthcare Facility

Meridian announced yesterday it received the 2015 HREI Insights Award for "Best Renovated or Repurposed Healthcare Facility" for the Rohnert Park medical office building it sold in November.

Meridian acquired the 69k SF building at 5900 State Farm Dr in March 2014, putting more than $6M into tenant improvements and converting the second-floor office space to medical space. Meridian kept Kaiser Permanente as the ground-floor tenant and leased the second floor to Petaluma Health Center. A private investor purchased the building for $21.5M in November.

The national award is sponsored by Healthcare Real Estate Insights magazine. Also, Meridian's DaVita dialysis clinic in Mountain View was selected as a finalist in a separate category.
