Despite droves of Silicon Valley-based tenants wanting to plant a flag in S.F. to appease younger workforces, we know of at least one tenant doing the reverse: S.F.-based Yelp is looking for space in the valley, we confirmed (above is the stunning lobby at 140 New Montgomery, where it's HQ'd). In addition, a new JLL report reveals two other big tenants scouring the Silicon Valley market. Complete Genomics wants space outside of its Mountain View Campus and is looking for at least 150k SF in the Golden Triangle region of the Valley. Mobile Iron continues to survey potential relocation spots greater than 100k SF. For now, the newly public company has been leasing smaller spaces near its office in downtown Mountain View.
