Meet CREW's New Prez

Last year, Allen Matkins' Nancy Lundeen helped start a series of workshops for leaders of CREW S.F. One of the beneficiaries? Herself, as she's the new 2014 CREW S.F. prez. (She's snapped second from right at a lunch last week with Emmy-winning journalist Belva Davis, far left.) Nancy tells us the S.F. chapter is very healthy in terms of sponsorships and memberships, so it's a comfortable position to be in as prez. (President Obama is calling on line 1--he wants to know what that's like.)

Nancy is big on fostering leadership skills, and the plan is to have three more workshops this year. She thinks S.F. has a ways to go when it comes to getting more females into top construction and development posts. Nancy shared with us a proud career accomplishment of her own: In late 2012, she repped both lenders on a $505M loan on 101 Cal--and closed it in a whopping two weeks. She didn't get sleep but got it done before the holidays, she says.
