How Alexandria Secured Eli Lilly at UTC

Eli Lilly's lease was a lot larger than we previously reported. According to Alexandria Real Estate Equities' latest quarterly report, the firm inked a 304,300 SF deal with the pharma giant at its newly acquired 10290 Campus Point Dr (formerly owned and used by Qualcomm) in the University Town Center submarket. Once finished, Eli Lilly will move from Alexandria's 10300 Campus Point Dr facility. Alexandria bought the 300k-plus SF building adjacent to the firm's Alexandria Center for Life Science at Campus Pointe. The firm plans to redevelop the space starting in October for Eli Lilly. The firm also states it's pursuing additional entitlements totaling nearly 300k SF at the campus.
