Who says accountants can't work in cool new office space? Not EY (formerly Ernst & Young), which recently relocated its San Diego office into a new space on the 14th and 16th floors of Pacifica Tower at 4365 Executive Drive, designed by HOK.
The new office provides a range of work settings and tech to enhance the flexible work culture at EY, allow for headcount growth and continue to attract talent to the accountancy, according to EY.
What tenants are looking for in their offices will be a topic of conversation at Bisnow's San Diego Workplace of the Future event June 14.

“Our new San Diego office focuses on bringing our professionals more opportunities for collaboration and flexibility,” EY San Diego Office Managing Partner Robert Bruning said. “We want our people to feel inspired by their work environment.”

The San Diego office is part of the EY@Work initiative, which emphasizes energizing and efficient workplace environments. The EY San Diego office is among several others on the West Coast to transition to the EY@Work environment, which has also been rolled out to hundreds of EY locations worldwide.

The new San Diego office totals 27K SF, including 141 tech-enhanced workspaces, 24 collaboration rooms, seven meeting rooms, two multipurpose centers for dining and entertainment and 72 sit-to-stand workstations.

There is a wellness center, which has a view of the ocean, and the 16th-floor elevator lobby features a floor-to-ceiling image showcasing the San Diego skyline.
