Charlotte, North Carolina-based JELD-WEN has signed a long-term lease extension for nearly 195K SF at the North County Corporate Center in Vista, which is now 100% leased. The door-and-window manufacturer is fully leasing two buildings — 2760 and 2765 Progress St. — within the multibuilding industrial center owned by Barings Real Estate Advisors. The company has been a tenant for the last 15 years.

“We are thrilled that JELD-WEN, a great and respected tenant of the project, has recommitted to continuing its local manufacturing, design, production and distribution operation at the North County Corporate Center here in San Diego,” said Aric Starck, part of the team from Cushman & Wakefield's San Diego office, which represented the landlord.

“This high-grade, fully leased property represents an institutional-quality industrial park set in one of the most desirable and fast-growing industrial markets in the region, North County. Its accessibility and convenience in the northern region have made it an ideal corporate headquarters and distribution location for companies conducting business in San Diego as well as surrounding markets," Starck said.

Constructed in 1999, North County Corporate Center is a five-building, nearly 494K SF industrial park on 26 acres at 990 and 995 Joshua Way, and 2750, 2760 and 2765 Progress St. near the California 78 freeway corridor.

In addition to Starck, Dennis Visser of Cushman & Wakefield’s San Diego office represented the landlord. Darren Morgan, also of Cushman & Wakefield’s San Diego office, represented the tenant.
