New Tower Proposed For Burnside Bridgehead

Preliminary plans for a new 17-story tower at the Burnside Bridgehead are in the works. The tower would include 220 residential units and some 100k SF of retail and office space. Developer Gerding Edlen’s proposed project, slated for the corner of MLK Jr Boulevard and Burnside Street, would be one of the first at the eastern end of the Burnside Bridge, according to the Portland Business Journal. It would join The Yard, Block 75 and the Fair-Haired Dumbbell, a project that is drawing on crowdfunding. [PBJ]
