Colliers' Big Crown

We chatted with Colliers International's Ryan Timpani fresh from his big deal with Crown Castle International. Ryan—along with Keith Lambeth and Todd Noel—brokered the 70k SF build-to-suit project with LGE Design Build for the southeast corner of Germann Road and Stearman Drive in Chandler. “Crown Castle was adamant about being intricately involved in the design,” Ryan says, adding that it wanted to be near amenities and quick access to South Loop 202. And the nine-acre site allows for further expansion.

This will be the finished product by next July. Ryan says tenant demand continues to bloom this year in Phoenix, forcing developers to start spec spaces, especially in the Southeast Valley. (Phoenix rarely needs snow shovels, but developers may start scooping them up for groundbreakings.) The trio already are working on leases for a tech client in Tel Aviv, Paris and Dubai as well as “searching for more build-to-suit options in the Southeast Valley” for another unnamed Fortune 500 client.
