The ACE (Architecture, Construction, Engineering) Mentor Program of Eastern Pennsylvania awarded Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp prez John Grady--seen here on a Bisnow Philly panel--as Community Leader of the Year. On May 29, he'll receive his award at a breakfast in the Crystal Tea Room in Philly. Also recognized will be theCope Linder Architects Gerald Cope, posthumously given a Lifetime Achievement Award, anddouble LEED Platinum Five Crescent Dr as Project of the Year. (We think John could have won that one too, but he isn't eligible for awards given to buildings. Maybe if he stood still for a real long time...)
