WeWork Opens In Costa Mesa, Its Second Location In Orange County

Coworking giant WeWork has opened in Costa Mesa, its second location in Orange County.

The new WeWork opened May 1 and is at 3200 Park Center Drive in the Pacific Arts Plaza, just a block from the Westin South Coast Plaza and the high-end indoor mall South Coast Plaza.

WeWork Costa Mesa will feature two floors with more than 700 desks, according to a spokesman.

WeWork’s latest foray in Orange County comes at a time the company continues to expand throughout Southern California. The New York-based company carries a $20B valuation.

This is the 17th WeWork location in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

WeWork opened its first Orange County location at the Irvine Spectrum in 2016.

A WeWork spokesman said the high demand in Irvine led to the company opening a second location in Orange County.

The spokesman said the company does not have any other leases signed in Orange County but is constantly looking for new opportunities.
