Compass Scores New Office In Newport Beach

Compass is preparing to open an office this month in Newport Beach.

Rob Giem, former managing director and partner at HOM Sotheby’s International Realty in Newport Beach, is joining the firm as an agent.

Compass, a four-year-old firm, has 1,200 agents in L.A., San Francisco, New York City and Washington, DC, among other cities, the Orange County Register reports.

Compass also started an entertainment and sports division in L.A. in the fall. [OCR]
