Renting is coming at a higher price these days.
The average rent in Orange County for an apartment was $1,781/month this past summer, according to Reis. Orange County rents were the ninth-highest in the nation, among the top 79 cities researched nationwide.
This is despite the roughly 10,800 apartments under construction in Orange County and 25,000 new units in LA, the Press Telegram reports.
Over the past almost five years, rents have gone up 14.3% in Orange County, or $223/month, according to Reis. [LBPT]
