Irvine Co. is rebranding the Airport Business Center as “The Launch.”

The development's two four-story buildings are on MacArthur Boulevard in front of John Wayne Airport. Both buildings are undergoing a reno that will transform them into a 130K SF workplace community with the hope of making them attractive to startups, Urbanize LA reports.

Flexible workplace designs and modern amenities are part of the plan. There will also be a new, modern lobby, outdoor workspace, a fire pit and complimentary WiFi.

The customer floors will include ReadyNow suites from 1,500 to 5,500 SF with customer lounges in the common areas. ReadyNow suites are designed by experts and offer fast move-in times, furnished office options and simple lease choices for expanding businesses, according to Irvine Co.

Existing retail tenants include Bank of America, Java Hut and Union Bank.
