| Yesterday, NYC HPD commissioner Rafael Cestero, Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement prez Lucille McEwen, and Jonathan Rose Cos. prez Jonathan Rose broke ground on the $24M Erbograph Apartments. It's noted as the first senior housing development in Harlem designed to achieve LEED Silver. The eight-story, 65-unit project is located at 203 W. 146th St., and will accommodate aging-in-place seniors earning no more than 50% of the area median income. HCCI will own the building, to be renamed the Dr. Muriel Petioni Plaza, upon completion in fall '11. The project is part of the City's New Housing Marketplace Plan, which calls for 165k units to be built or preserved by '14.
