Bids are due today for SL Green's 609 Fifth Ave, as the company continues its quest to collect enough money to buy the $2.2B 11 Madison Ave. Bidders include (pictured) Joe Sitt's Thor Equities. The 13-story, 166,541 SF home to Mattel's American Girl Place, is 75% occupied. American Girl Place has an $8M/year lease for 46,601 SF on the first, second, and third floors, the mezzanine, and the basement until March 2018. The building's 119,940 SF of office space is anchored by DZ Bank. Other tenants include Korean Airlines, GigaSpaces Technologies, Michael Herman Fine Jewelry, and Jemma. SL Green bought the 90-year-old property for $182M in the summer of 2006. CBRE's Darcy Stacom is handling the marketing. The building is expected to fetch roughly $500M. [CO]
