Optimism and opportunity reigned during the cocktail hour at Thursday's New York Building Congress awards luncheon (Part I), where Atco Properties COO Peter DiCapua (with ConEdison Solutions' CEO Jorge Lopez and VP Michael Perna), told us that he planned to spend his weekend in Charlotte looking for investments to diversify Atco's retail, office, and condo portfolio at an 8.5% return. (Atco also recently made a purchase in Austin with a preferred return of 9%.) The trio also discussed solar power opportunities, which are more prevalent in NJ than NY because of the Garden State's renewable energy credits. |
